We are a small Finnish team building one system for the whole of service — together with the restaurants that use it every shift.
Fiest started with one observation: fragmented restaurant tools pull attention away from the room. Ordering, kitchen work, payments, reporting, and support should move together, so real restaurants have shaped each release from the start.
Over lunch after a surf in Lisbon, we scanned a QR code for the menu — and got a PDF. The idea landed right there: an online menu customers could actually order from. Everything else came later.
Fiest Oy was founded in Helsinki in late 2024 with one clear direction: restaurants should not need separate tools for ordering, POS, kitchen flow, payments, analytics, and support. Online ordering was tested with restaurants that same year, surfacing the practical details fast: modifiers, cart clarity, checkout speed, and kitchen handoff.
The POS launched in early 2025 on the same foundation. In-person sales, online orders, payments, kitchen tickets, end-of-day reporting, and device choice moved into one system — no proprietary hardware required. A phone, a consumer tablet, or an old laptop could become a Fiest POS.
Kitchen displays, payments, analytics, inventory, automations, and catalog tooling now support the daily flow inside Fiest. The platform has processed €8,5M+ in restaurant sales to date, and the work keeps going with the teams using it in service.
The story only matters if it holds up at the counter. Fiest is shaped with restaurants that need POS, online orders, payments, kitchen work, reports, and support to stay connected while service is moving.
