Fiest started with one observation: restaurant work should feel connected, from ordering to the kitchen to the end-of-day. Real restaurants have shaped each release from the start.

An idea, after a surf
Over lunch after a surf in Lisbon, we scanned a QR code for the menu — and got a PDF. The idea landed right there: an online menu customers could actually order from. Everything else came later.

Fiest Oy was founded in late 2024 in Helsinki with one clear direction: ordering, POS, kitchen flow, payments, analytics, and support should move as one product.

Online ordering came first
The first product went live in early 2025 with a small group of partner restaurants. Each release answered a real shift: a missing modifier, a clearer cart, a faster checkout, a cleaner handoff to the kitchen.

With online ordering live, the POS came next on the same foundation. In-person sales, online orders, payments, and kitchen tickets moved into one ledger, one end-of-day, and one support relationship.

From there we diversified. No proprietary POS hardware required — Fiest runs natively on iOS, iPadOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and the web. A phone, a consumer tablet, an old laptop: whatever a team already has on hand becomes a Fiest POS.

Kitchen displays, payments, analytics, scheduling, inventory, and catalog tooling now support the daily flow inside Fiest. The platform has processed €3,5M+ in restaurant sales to date, and the work keeps going.
