How It Started
Fiest began with a simple observation we made during an exchange in Lisbon in 2023. We noticed a gap in restaurant technology that existed not just in Portugal, but back home in Finland too. By August 2024, we had built a working prototype for online ordering. However, as we worked closely with restaurant owners, we discovered a deeper problem: restaurants were drowning in fragmented systems, each solving only one piece of the puzzle. That's when our true mission became clear—to build the all-in-one platform restaurants actually need, not just another tool to add to the chaos.
